Willis & Company CPA’s Transition
We are pleased to announce our forthcoming acquisition of the Albany location of TaylorChandler, LLC by Willis & Company CPAs, LLC. It is scheduled to take place officially on September 8, 2023.
This office began its professional practice as Davis & Lawless CPAs in 1988. Continuing with succession planning the practice was sold in 2011 to TaylorChandler, LLC. Currently to continue business plans for growth and ability to serve our clients, the ownership of this office will transition to Willis & Company CPAs, LLC. The growth over the past 35 years has been predominantly internally generated from the referrals of our client base and other professionals. The growth and development of our professional staff has evolved similarly. As a result, we have sustained and experienced growth over the past several years. This has been directly related to the services of our staff and the success our clients have had in their business and personal pursuits.
In a continued effort to seek what is best for each of our clients, we have decided to transition ownership of the Albany office to Willis & Company CPAs, LLC. Willis & Company CPAs, LLC is a newly formed entity with Daniel Willis as the managing member. Daniel Willis is a Certified Public Accountant with over 18 years of accounting experience. Being born and raised in Southwest Georgia, he continues to serve our clients and the community. Managing TaylorChandler’s Albany office since 2012, he continues to excel in his profession and career. We believe he is a great fit in leading the office and staff in continuing to provide and expand the great level of service to clients.

- The services we have offered in the past will continue to be offered.
- Our office location and hours will remain the same.
- Our main office phone numbers will also remain the same.
We will be expanding our consulting services area to better serve our clients. We believe this will give us the ability to assist our clients in gaining a better understanding of their business and circumstances, while continuing to grow and prosper.
We will continue to operate from our current location.
