Willis & Company CPAs and Consultants may be a newer name, but it is by no means a new company. While our name has changed, our commitment to our clients remains the same, along with the experienced staff who have served them for many years.
The firm was established in 1988 as Davis & Lawless, a Certified Public Accounting firm. In 2011, the firm began its succession transition to Taylor Chandler. In 2023, the next chapter began when Daniel Willis purchased the firm and assumed ownership. Today, Willis & Company continues to build on that longstanding foundation of experience, service, and trusted relationships.
Daniel is a successful Certified Public Accountant who was born and raised in South Georgia. He graduated from Albany State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, and later pursued further education at Georgia Southwestern. He was licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in 2011 and has been in the accounting industry for over 15 years. He has enjoyed working with various clients across multiple industries. In addition to his professional achievements, Daniel is a devoted family man. He is married to Melissa Willis and together they have two children, Natalie and Colby. In his free time, Daniel enjoys spending time with family and friends and being outdoors. He also serves as a deacon at Greenbriar Church of Albany and serves on the Board of The Arc of Southwest Georgia.
