Willis & Company CPAs and Consultants may be a new name, but it is by no means a new company. Although we have changed names, we still have the same great staff that have worked with our clients for many years. This Certified Public Accounting firm began in 1988 as Davis & Lawless and in 2011 the firm transitioned into succession planning to Taylor Chandler. In 2023, we have taken the next step in succession with a transition of ownership to Daniel Willis.
Daniel is a successful Certified Public Accountant who was born and raised in South Georgia. He graduated from Albany State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, and later pursued further education at Georgia Southwestern. He was licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in 2011 and has been in the accounting industry for over 15 years. He has enjoyed working with various clients across multiple industries. In addition to his professional achievements, Daniel is a devoted family man. He is married to Melissa Willis and together they have two children, Natalie and Colby. In his free time, Daniel enjoys spending time with family and friends and being outdoors. He also serves as a deacon at Greenbriar Church of Albany and serves on the Board of The Arc of Southwest Georgia.
